The quest for the essential, GIGIStudios

Brand Strategist, Content Strategist, Storytelling

Defining ourselves and how we want to be perceived is a pre-requisite for brands, and one with a direct bearing on the impact of their business. I was given the opportunity to collaborate with the CEO and Communications Director of GIGIStudios, an eyewear firm with more than 3,000 customers across 45 countries worldwide, in defining the basic pillars and brand insights on which to build their story. This resulted in the documentation and texts guiding all the brand's medium- and long-term communication actions, and their adaptation to the various channels that exist today.

I also worked with the creative director and the rest of the GIGI Studios team in planning, creating and disseminating content, ensuring consistency, style and tone, as well as narrative and editorial quality and originality.

The results of this collaboration can be seen on the new website, and in the brand’s commercial tools, lookbooks, campaigns and social media.

Family businessGIGI Studios is a brand founded in Barcelona in 2015 by the third generation of a family that has always been involved in eyewear. CEO and creative director Patricia Ramo has combined her contemporary vision with her father's expertise to transform the company her grandfather founded in 1962 into a dynamic brand, driven by fashion culture and its most artistic and creative expression.

A unique identityWithout distinction, GIGI Studios aims to support people in their process of self-expression, making them feel more creative and self-confident. GIGI Studios' designs are the result of continuous reflection, exploration through materials, shapes and colours in search of designs that boost the wearer's unique identity.

Expressive diversityGIGI Studios eyewear is designed to suit different faces and lifestyles and meet a variety of aesthetic and expressive needs. Our eclectic and versatile product catalogue covers a range of styles, broadly segmented into five collections: VANGUARD, ICONS, MEN, LAB and XS.
